Synopsis:

Beyond the borders of her city, Raine comes across a terrifying and disturbing discovery in the dead of night. Retreating back to society, she knows she can't keep such secrets to herself. Then, when daylight comes around once again, she enters the public square and breaks her silence. People just don't hear but take notice, and the surrounding air loses any of its semblance of peace and safety. Yet, when Raine stirs up more trouble than good, she gets more than just the masses' attention and is taken away just like that out of the city's sight.

Detained by authorities, will Raine break down and fall into line like everyone else, or will she stay true to her convictions and suffer the consequences of speaking the truth? In a black-and-white world governed by particular rules and laws, Raine has one of two choices—to be whipped into order to become a law-abiding citizen or to be cast out into oblivion to be forgotten from all of history. Only Raine can make that choice herself, and only this she must truly answer for herself: who will she trust most?
